Cheshire Glam offers beautiful high quality occasion wear at a realistic price and in a spacious, informal and friendly setting.

Visiting customers will enjoy exclusive access to the shop for the duration of their appointment with the ability to try outfits on in a comfortable environment in private and without interruption or pressure.

Do I have to make an appointment?

Yes, an appointment is required.  A 90 minute appointment per customer is recommended to set a nice pace to browse and try on dresses.

How many people can I bring to my appointment?

It is a good idea to bring someone with you whose opinion you also really value. You are welcome to bring yourself and a maximum of two other guests. Sorry children are not permitted in the boutique.

Are your dresses new?

Most of our dresses are brand new and this is our focus, but we do carry a small selection of pre-loved dresses that have been worn once and dry cleaned.

How much choice do you offer?

People are often surprised at the wide selection that we offer to our customers.   Although the boutique is relatively small, we carry stock of approximately 400 outfits across the range of sizes.

How much do your dresses and outfits cost?

Accepted Answer

All of our dresses carry a designer label so prices are higher than high street brands.  However, with the exception of current season stock, our outfits typically sell for less than the recommended retail price that you could expect to pay in a high street mother of the bride boutique.

Do you offer an alterations service?

We do not offer a service onsite but can make recommendations for experienced tailoresses in the locality.

Should I wear tights to try on?

Yes, it is a good idea to wear nude tights – not black!

What is your returns policy?

Accepted Answer

Due to the fact that our outfits are heavily discounted and you are given time to try and make a fully informed purchase, we do not offer refunds.   If you are not entirely delighted with your purchase however, exchanges for a credit note can be made in person within a 7 day period subject to satisfactory inspection of items and non-removal of Cheshire Glam and/or original labels.  Credit notes are valid for a period of 6 months.

Do I have to pay for my appointment?

There is no charge for your 90 minute appointment where you will enjoy a one to one service with exclusive access to the boutique.

If I am not sure, can I return for a second appointment?

Accepted Answer

Yes - you are welcome to book a further appointment if required prior to making a purchase decision.  All further appointments are charged at a flat rate of £25 which will be taken upon arrival, but this amount is deductable and will be offset against the price of purchases.
